The firmAdviser Network
Adviser Network
We do not want volume. We want people who know the business they are sending.
An introduction is a business you know well enough to put your own name to. One a year is worth more to us than fifty names off a list, and we are selective about who we work with.
Who we work with
Independent financial advisers, accountants, solicitors and business consultants. People who already advise a business on something, not people who pass names around for a fee.
What matters is where your client is, not where you are. If the business is a UK limited company, or the property is in the UK, we can help. You do not have to be here.
We work with advisers across the UK, in selected countries in Europe and the Gulf, and in the United States. Whether we can work with you is decided when you apply, and we will tell you then.
On the business side we arrange finance for UK limited companies. On property we also work with individual investors and developers borrowing for business or investment purposes, secured against UK property.
What matters is the relationship, not the category. If you know the business and they trust you, that is the qualification.
If your own business has been funded by us and you want to pass on a name, that is a different thing and there is nothing to apply for. See Refer a business.
What we expect
That you know the business you are introducing. Not a name from a list, not a form completed on someone’s behalf.
What matters is that when we call them, they know who you are and why we are ringing.
You will be dealing with the person who decides, and they will already know who you are.
What that has produced, since 2018.
What you get
One person, and it is the person deciding. Not an account manager who passes it on, and not a different name every time you call. You will get to know how we work and we will get to know the sort of clients you act for, which is what makes the second one easier than the first.
An answer, usually the same day. Before your client’s expectations are set, and early enough that you are not the one explaining a delay. If it is no, you will usually get the reason, and it will be one you can take back to them.
Your client is handled the way you would handle them. They hear from one person, they are told what is happening, and nothing is submitted anywhere without them knowing. Your relationship with them is the thing you are lending us, and we treat it accordingly.
Commission on completion, agreed in writing when you send the case. Per case rather than a rate card, no tiers to climb, and no volume threshold to unlock it. The figure does not move once it is agreed. What can stop it being paid is in the terms rather than here: the case not completing, a lender reclaiming from us, or a breach of the document and confidentiality clauses. You are paid within thirty days of us being paid.
The assessment is our own, built on eight years of completed and declined cases. Anybody could build the software. Nobody else has the record it reads from.
What happens to a case
From the moment you send us a case to the moment your client has the money. You will know where it is at every one of these, without having to ask. Speed is the thing we are known for, and most of this happens in days.
You send us the caseA call or an email
Most advisers send the detail up front rather than just a name. The more we have, the faster the rest of this goes.
We tell you what we can paySame day
On that case, at that point, in writing. Agreed per case rather than a rate card, because what a case pays us varies.
We speak to your clientSame day, usually
Two questions and the evidence. They know you introduced them, because we say so.
You hear whether it is fundableUsually the same day
Before their expectations are set, and from us rather than from them. If it is no, you will usually get the reason.
We place itDays, not weeks
With the lender whose appetite actually fits, not to a panel. You are told how it is moving.
It completes and you are paidWithin thirty days
Your client has the money. You are paid within thirty days of us being paid, at the figure agreed at step two.
If it stalls, you hear that too, and you hear it from us rather than from your client.
What we arrange
Unsecured working capital for trading businesses, as a term loan, a revolving credit line or a business credit card.
Bridging and property finance where a purchase is time critical, a lender has pulled out late, or a case is stuck somewhere else.
Portfolio facilities for landlords and developers releasing equity against what they already hold.
Cases other brokers have declined are worth sending. A decline is usually a placement problem rather than a credit one, and the file does not say which.
How it starts
You apply
What you do, and the clients you act for. Once, and it takes a few minutes.
We talk
How we work, what we pay, and whether your clients are the ones we can help.
We tell you either way
And usually the reason, if it is no. Nothing sits in a queue waiting to be looked at.
You introduce when it suits
No targets and no minimum. Pick up the phone when you have someone.
There is nothing to sign, and no commitment once you are in.
Adviser terms apply. There is nothing to sign: submitting an application accepts them, whether or not it succeeds. Read the adviser terms.
