FacilitiesForesight

Foresight

What a facility actually costs, before anyone asks who you are.

Four facilities, each priced the way it actually works. Pick one, type an amount and you get a monthly cost from lower to higher. Nothing else happens.

What it is built from

Priced from eight years of real outcomes: what completed, what was declined, and at what price, across every lending partner on our panel. No single lender sees all of that, because each sees only its own book.

What it will not do

  • This is not a repayment calculator
  • No sign-up, no details needed
  • Just a rough sense of cost
  • Want a real answer? Speak to us afterwards

Four facilities, four different calculations.

Most tools in this market run one formula and change the label. These facilities do not behave the same way or get priced the same way, so Foresight runs each on its own model.

Short-term loan

up to 24 months

Reducing balance. Interest is charged on what is left outstanding, so the cost falls as the balance does.

Term loan

36 to 72 months

The same calculation over a longer term, priced annually instead of monthly. Interest is still charged on the balance left outstanding.

Credit line

per drawdown

The cost is fixed at the point of drawdown and taken out of the facility, not added on top. Repaying early does not reduce it, because there is nothing left to unwind.

Credit card

bank transfer drawdown

Priced by the day, so Foresight shows what one day costs. Draw for four days and you pay four days.

Where the numbers come from

Our own book. Not a rate card, not a market average, and not the cheapest thing we have ever seen.

Eight years of what was placed, what completed and at what cost, and just as importantly what was declined and where it fell over. Declines are the half of the data almost nobody keeps, and they show where the edges sit.

Built in-house, which most brokers cannot do: it takes having placed and lost enough cases for the figures to mean anything.

The ranges are reviewed against live lender pricing as the market moves, because a figure that was right in March is not automatically right in September.

You see two numbers, a lower and a higher. Where a business lands between them depends on things Foresight cannot see, which is most of them. The real figure can come back below the lower or above the higher. Most tools show only the best case.

What it will not do

It will not tell you whether you qualify

Foresight prices an amount. It does not assess a business, and it has no idea who you are.

It is not a quotation and not an offer

The real number comes after somebody has read your statements, and it can move in either direction.

It does not take your details

No name, no company, no contact details. Nothing you enter is recorded, and nobody calls you.

It does not show you a rate

Only the cost in pounds. A rate on its own tells you very little and is the number most often used to set an expectation that does not hold.

A number you cannot get is no use to you. We would rather say so now than after the statements.

Why it exists at all

Many sites in this market lead with a headline rate: the lowest number the broker has ever seen, belonging to a business nothing like yours, there to start a conversation rather than inform one.

Then the statements are collected, the real figure arrives, and the expectation set at the start is why the case falls over. In our own book, terms not being accepted kill more business loans than credit declines do.

Foresight is that number done properly: what we can tell you before we have seen anything, built from cases that completed.

The next step is six months of statements, which is where the estimate becomes a real figure.
