Business Loans

Capital, on a fixed schedule.

A lump sum into your business account, repaid over an agreed term. The largest facility we arrange, and the right structure when a business needs capital outright.

Two structures

Short term

Up to £750,000. Up to 24 months. Fixed repayments.

Some cases are decided the same day, automatically, by the lending partner. Suits stock, a purchase or a gap to close: anything that pays back quickly.

Term loan

Up to £750,000. 36 to 72 months. Fixed repayments.

Decision usually 24 to 48 hours. Suits expansion, acquisition, a second site, anything where the return builds over years.

We work out which structure fits and where it should go. The decision is yours.

When a loan is not the right answer

A loan is a fixed sum on a fixed schedule. If you need the money for days at a time, you pay for a term you are not using. That is a credit line, not a loan.

We will tell you which fits and why, and the decision is yours.

If it is the right answer, what you can have and on what terms comes out of the statements. Tell us what you need

Borrow when it is working, not when it is not

The best time to arrange funding is when you do not urgently need it, which is when almost nobody does. Wait until the direct debits start bouncing and the options have narrowed, even though the business has not changed, only what the statements show.

That is not a call to rush. If a business is not yet fundable, waiting and going in stronger is the right call, and we will say so. What costs money is delaying while the account is clean, to save a point on a rate, and arriving when it is not.

What we need from you

Six months of business bank statements

Five to seven minutes from your banking app.

Company and director details

Basic information about the business and who runs it.

Identity documents

Passport or driving licence, where a lending partner requires it.

That is everything. We collect it once and keep it on file.

What to expect

Personal guarantee

Required on almost all unsecured lending. The terms are set out in the lending partner’s own documentation, which you should read in full before accepting.

Homeowner status

Can affect the amount available with some lending partners, and makes no difference with others. We know which lending partners it affects.

Credit searches

We run no consumer credit searches. Where a lending partner searches when a case is submitted, we tell you before we submit.

What makes a case take longer

A clean case

Two days

A case with a question in it

Longer, and it depends on the answer

Same five stepsNothing is added and nothing is skipped. Questions get asked before a case goes anywhere either way. What changes is how much there is to explain, how many lending partners see it, and whether the statements are the whole file.
More lending partnersA clean case fits one lending partner, occasionally two. A case with something to explain goes to several, each with the explanation already attached, so nobody finds the gap on their own. That is more submissions, not more applications from you.
More documentsManagement accounts, a VAT return, an explanation of a particular month. It happens, and the faster it comes back the smaller the difference between these two columns.

Is this for you

We work with established UK limited companies, typically taking £360,000 a year through the business account. Lower turnover or a younger business is looked at case by case where the trading is strong.

Who we work with

Send six months of statements and you will know where you stand, usually the same day.
