Bespoke finance

Some things we do not put on a rate page.

Why they are not here

Five facilities carry the book. They are on this site because they are what gets placed most weeks, at a size that justifies the work on both sides.

Trade finance, development, a retention facility, a scheme that opened in March and closes in October. These get arranged. They are not advertised, for two honest reasons. The volume does not justify a page, and most of them are not placed through a panel at all. They go to one lender, directly, because somebody there will take the call.

What is on offer here is not a product. It is a lender who will take the call, and who already knows what our cases look like when they arrive.

Government schemes

The clearest example. One exists, then it does not. The eligibility moves, the accredited lenders change, and half the market is still advertising the last one.

If a scheme is open and your business fits it, we will say so. If it is closed, we will say that instead, which is the more useful answer and the one nobody gives.

No numbers

There is no minimum and no published range. Nothing about these is standard enough to publish, and a figure on this page would be a figure we invented.

The question is not whether we do it. It is whether it can be placed, and that is answerable the same day.

Bespoke cases are assessed on their facts. Placement depends on the lender and on the case. Nothing here is an offer of finance or a commitment to arrange it.
